Robyn,
ReplyDeleteI thought your press release was a great start. You had the same problem I did you only had time to start setting up your framework. I thought everything that was there was good. When you get time to finsh I would say put something between the first and second paragraphs to make them flow better. But I think it looks good what you have so far.

Robyn,
ReplyDeleteGood job for the time constraints you were under. I have a couple of suggestions, but do know that I understand you just didn’t have time to proof anything and that if you did have time you would have caught the same things.
I would change For Immediate Release to all caps. And when you have time add the club name, contact person, address and phone number. Delete the dash between Utah and Social. I liked that you put the who what and where in the first sentence. Good job. Nice job at getting the info concerning the club in, as well as the quote from Preston. Instead of having a period at the end of the quote place a common inside of the quotation marks. I would also include Preston’s title, such as, “Preston Parker, the president of SMCCV, said.”
Good luck with the rest of your article. I am sure it is going to be great!
Kayla
Good job! I think it is a good beginning. I really liked your lead. It got the most important info out and made me want to find our more about it.
